Dr. Hassan Elwan

Psychospiritual Counselor (AMFT #133334)

Dr. Hassan Elwan holds a doctorate in Electrical Engineering from the Ohio State University and a Master's degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University. He regularly lectures about Islam and spirituality in Southern California and provides professional counseling services to the community that is grounded in both psychology and spirituality. Dr. Elwan has more than 10 years experience in counseling from both a spiritual and clinical psychology perspective. He is certified in many psychotherapy approaches including Gottman and EFT couple therapy.
Shaykh Furhan Zubairi

Shaykh Furhan Zubairi

Dean of Seminary

Shaykh Furhan Zubairi is Dean of the Seminary and Extension Programs at the Institute of Knowledge in Diamond Bar, California, and regularly delivers sermons and lectures throughout Southern California. He is a hafidh of the Qur’an and a traditionally trained scholar, holding an ‘Alamiyyah degree from Jami’ah Dar Al-’Ulum in Karachi with numerous ijazat in the six canonical books of hadith, including the Muwatta’ of Imam Malik and Imam Muhammad. He also holds a B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine and is certified in Islamic Finance.
