Ms. Iman Saymeh recently completed her Masters in Social Work degree and her internships in Clinical therapy from Cal State Fullerton, class of 2020. Ms. Iman first started working with IOK after joining us on hajj. Since then, she has worked closely with IOK School as an administrator, and eventually went on to manage the IOK weekend school program for two years, leading our expansion efforts into the partnership with the Islamic Center of Yorba Linda for a Sunday School program. She is also a graduate of the IOK Seminary holding an Associate’s degree in Islamic Studies and Arabic. Additionally, she holds a Master’s in Education prior to joining IOK and has served in the education sector for over a decade.
Ms. Iman hosts dynamic all-women halaqah across Orange and Los Angeles county communities where she combines her knowledge of mental health with her Islamic studies background to provide women a nurturing environment of learning and support. She is the loving mother of two boys and a dedicated Community Chaplain serving the IOK Community.
